Pattern Description:
Inspired by the Japanese Kokeshi dolls, here is Kaoru looking very elegant and I must say, quite slender! With her long dark hair and standing so tall, she would love to hang on your wall! Quick and easy to make with that delightful pieced border using some of the delicious Japanese fabrics that are around these days.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Approx. 12" wide by 23" long
Materials:
- Background fabric 1/3 yard (30cm)
- Border & binding fabric 1/3 yard (30cm)
- Small amounts of a variety of fabrics for pieced border and applique
You Will Also Need:
- Paper backed fusible web for applique
- General sewing supplies
- 12" wire hanger if desired
