Pattern Description:

This quilt was inspired b the Japanese Kokeshi dolls, which, as far as I am aware, are traditionally wooden dolls. With the delicious Japanese fabrics for their clothes, these dolls, all of which have Japanese names, are feeling ready for anything! The applique has been fused and stitched around and some of the clothing fabrics are included in the border.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approx. 43" x 53"

Materials:

  • Background 1 3/4 yards
  • Sashing & binding 1 1/4 yards
  • Assorted fabrics for applique

You Will Also Need:

  • Paper backed fusible web
  • Backing and sleeve 1 3/4 yards
  • Batting approx. 46" x 56"
  • A few beads for embellishment
  • Permanent marking pens for faces - optional
  • General sewing supplies
