Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should know how to do some simple hand embroidery as well as using a sewing machine to put the quilt together.

Pattern Description:

Ted and Dog are such good friends, they love to do everything together! These simple embroidery redwork pictures are not difficult, instructions for the stitches used are included in the pattern. All you need to do is trace the patterns on to your background and get stitching! Looks great stitched and sashed in blue as well.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approx, 39" x 48"


  • 1 1/4 yards fabric main background
  • 1 1/4 yards fabric for sashings and binding
  • 1 1/4 yards of stabilizer to put behind the embroidery to give stability
  • DMC stranded cotton - 6 skeins (I have used colour 815)

You Will Also Need:

  • 45" x 54" batting
  • 45" x 54" backing
  • General sewing supplies
