Home Decor

Item:

Blanket/Bedspread

Skill Level:

small skill level requirement Beginner

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • sew an accurate 1/4" seam

Pattern Description:

This quilt was designed as a challenge. I was inspired by a quilt I did two years ago, but with log cabins. I tweaked it (a lot) and simplified it so it would be pretty fast to make (no log cabin involved).
This quilt could be easily adapted to make a crib quilt or a much bigger quilt, you just need to make more/less blocks and choose a layout you like.

Started quilting a couple of year ago with a quilt meant to be for the arrival of a baby of a friend of mine, she never got the quilt since it was finished more than a year too late, but that got me into quilting. I'm not very good at following a pattern and I love improvising so if you are like me, you will take what you like in the pattern and make it your own.
