Pattern Description:

I love collecting vintage fabrics. The romantic look of the floral prints calls to me in my daydreams. This applique flower design was inspired by my vintage fabric collection.

The unusual dark purple background makes the light colors of the flower stand out sensationally. The fusible applique technique makes these blocks quick, easy, and addictive.
( I've made eleven so far.)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • This pattern makes one 12" finished size quilt block


  • 1/4 yard purple 100 percent cotton fabric
  • 1/8 yard green 100 percent cotton fabric
  • 1/8 yard gold 100 percent cotton fabric
  • 1/8 yard off white 100 percent cotton fabric
  • fusible web
  • thread to match green, gold, and off white fabrics

You Will Also Need:

  • sewing machine with a zig zag stitch
  • hot iron
  • pen or pencil
