Choose six coordinating fat quarters to create this elegant table runner. Try a monochromatic color scheme or add an accent color. You could even go totally scrappy!
Despite the triangles in the finished piece, there are no triangles to cut. The flying geese and half-square triangle squares are constructed easily using only squares. The piano key border is quick and easy to assemble with strip piecing.
PLUS! Instructions are included to make the backing piece entirely from the scraps of fat quarters left over from making the top!
I started quilting in 2000, after years of wondering how to do it, and haven't looked back. As my children grow up I have more time to enjoy creating quilts from my own designs. I have been excited to discover that my creativity isn't limited to reproducing other people's patterns. Please visit my blog at http://www.canuckquilter.blogspot.com/ to see what I'm playing with at the moment.
