Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Fusible web applique with blanket stitch
  • Quilt cutting, piecing, binding.
  • Machine quilting or hand quilting with perle cotton.

Pattern Description:

It's sweet, it's cheery, and it's quick! The instructions use speedy fusible applique with a machine blanket stitch. Hand quilting with perle cotton adds a nice texture. If you haven't tried this faster method of hand quilting, this is the perfect quilt to give it a whirl. You won't believe how relaxing it is! The applique shapes are generously sized, and the pieced corner blocks are simple, so this is a great project for a beginner, or for a quick gift for the grandkids.
