This quilt was designed originally as a mystery quilt as part of a fundraiser, so the steps are presented as "clues". This pattern is presented in 4 different sizes (crib, lap, full/queen, and king) and is written to be easy for beginners, but still interesting enough for seasoned quilters. There are also no pesky seams to match up between blocks, so it's even easier!
UPDATE: I just added a new photo of my red, white and black quilt. My sample was originally the lap size, but I added one row of blocks (most of which I made from scraps and leftovers), two 1 inch borders (requiring an additional 12" of each fabric) and a 5 inch border (requiring an additional 40" of focus fabric). I absolutely LOVE what it does for this quilt!

I'm Shannon, and I'd like to thank you for visiting my store! I am a stay at home mom retired from engineering. I'm married with two boys, ages 9 and 4. I'm also a quilter, pattern designer, and even a fabric designer! I've been quilting for about 7 years, and designing patterns for about 3 years. I have a few completed so far, with several more in varying states of incompletion. I also have several fabric designs available from my spoonflower store. Now that I'm home every day, I am working on completing more patterns and fabrics so I can continue to stay home with my boys. Your purchase of my patterns supports my ability to do that!
So now you've seen my patterns! You can see my fabric designs at http://www.spoonflower.com/profiles/shannonmac. I have a collection called Monkeying Around that goes with my pattern of the same name. And feel free to visit my blog at http://mrsmunchy.blogspot.com.
