Back in 2009 i purchased a used Gammill longarm quilting machine in hopes of making a little extra $ to help send my sons to college. Oh wow! I never imagined how much I would LOVE my new adventure! Before that, I was a full time stay at home mom, volunteering in just about everything...even the local quilt shop. You'll find me in the 2002 Quilt Sampler magazine, just my picture, nothing more. lol :) I believe those days fueled my passion and here i am today, longarm quilting for clients, teaching classes at local quilt shops, and designing patterns. You'll find more about me and my work on my quilting blog: laugh yourself into Stitches*
Other than hit by the quilting bug...i love antiques, repurposing junk and digging in the dirt... but most of all, spending time with family...nothing better than that!
**This pattern is a digital PDF download and can be downloaded instantly after purchase.
Who doesn't love two colored quilts?
Stars for every Season is perfect for using up scraps. Don't worry if you're sick of those fabric scraps...this quilt can handle them!
Pick a range of lights, mediums and darks in reds and creams, choosing a variety of large and small prints to add interest.
The background and sashing fabrics are not scrappy...providing an overall continuity to this quilt.
Display Stars for every Season during Christmas, Valentine's Day, Flag Day, 4th of July...or all year 'round!
Can easily be made in many different two color combinations...or with a multitude of colored scraps!
Jelly Rolls are perfect for the scrappy Nine patches and outer border!
