Somerset Patchwork is an old fabric folding technique which can be worked into beautiful and interesting designs, depending on the use of colour and the placement of the folded patches..
This pattern will show you how to make a 16" x 16" pillow using the Somerset Patchwork technique. Patches are folded and pressed before they are placed on a background fabric and fastened with a seam. The project comes together quite fast, - it can be made in a day.
The pattern has 10 pages of detailed instructions in English, combined with step by step line drawings to make it easy to see the exact placement of the patches.
There are also instructions on how to finish the pillow with an easy backing.
All measurements are imperial (inches).
