Simple applique stars and brilliantly coloured fabric gives this quilt a festive glow. This quilt is super easy to make and looks fantastic hanging on the wall or thrown over a couch. It is one of my favourite quilts to display during the Christmas season. I used gold thread to quilt tiny little stars into the background fabrics and it simply sparkles under candle light.
All applique templates are full-size and do not need to be resized. Easy fusible applique techniques and simple piecing.
The finished size of the quilt is approx. 64 1/2in x 64 1/2in.

I am a mad quilter and pattern writer who lost her way in the jungle that is the textile industry. I?m waiting for Tarzan, George of the Jungle or the guy who found Dr Livingstone to rescue me and show me the way home? maybe if I click my red boots together something will happen? or maybe not, I really hated that movie *grin*.

What I really love are quilts that you can wrap around yourself to keep warm, whether you are curled up in your favourite armchair or sitting on a log by the campfire; quilts that your favourite small person can drag around the house and snuggle on; quilts that are meant to be used, washed and loved.
Over the years I?ve written the odd pattern or two for Australian quilting magazines, instore patterns for quilt shops, plus Block of the Month and Mystery Quilt programmes for Quilt Guilds.
I now write under the business name The Red Boot Quilt Company.
