Simple Sadie Meets Modern Millie

Simple Sadie Meets Modern Millie

Pattern Description:

Too Cute to Cut!

The aim of a Simple Sadie is to make a quilt as simply as possible! Find some fabric that is just too cute to cut! Use fabric with a large motif, fun print or panel. Cornerstones add interest and saves border fabric. A little quilt no larger than the width of fabric on the bolt saves time and $$. Can't get much simpler than that!

Modern Millie takes the Simple Sadie to a new level with fun-colored, large print modern fabrics, including 60"-wide polyester plush backing such as Minky, giving room to "grow" the size of the quilt with just a few more simple steps.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Simple Sadie Throw: 43" x 53"
  • Modern Millie Lap Quilt: 56" x 66"

  • Simple Sadie: 1-1/4 yards main print, 5/8 yard border print
  • Fabric requirements and cut list included in pattern
