Shark's Teeth Paper Pieced Patterns 10

Shark's Teeth Paper Pieced Patterns Multi-size Shark's Teeth Patterns

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic knowledge about paper piecing

Pattern Description:

This set of various size patterns - 3", 4", 5", 6" and 10" - first appeared on my best selling CD, Building Blocks and Borders. The Shark's Teeth blocks are a very modern looking border treatment with very sharp points that only paper piecing can achieve. I added the 10" size block for those wanting to use these in larger quilts. I've even included mirror image/reverse angles for each of the sizes. Make small blocks to border a small quilt. Make the units as the center of your quilt. The largest 10" size is an awesome way to showcase your sewing skills and is a great way to use up all those 2-1/2" scraps.

The pattern assumes you have basic knowledge about paper piecing. They are accurate for print and use and you will have to determine the best size of scraps to cut for each size.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Multiple sizes: 3, 4, 5, 6 and 10"

  • Scraps of good quality cotton fabrics.

You Will Also Need:

  • Add-a-quarter ruler, thread, etc
