Pattern Description:

This fun festive quilt is designed to highlight Kaufman's How the Grinch Stole Christmas licensed fabric, but it can be used with other fabrics to create a fun Christmas quilt. The pattern provides instructions for creating both lap and queen size quilts, and the openings in the center of each wreath are perfect for "fussy cutting" your favorite Grinch scene from this fun fabric collection.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 63" x 77" for lap
  • 77" x 91" for twin


  • 2" & 3" finished half square triangle paper by Triangles on a Roll
  • Masterpiece thread #130 green or #118 red by Superior Threads for piecing
  • 12.5" square ruler for blocks
  • 6.5" ruler for fussy cutting wreath scenes
  • Star buttons for tree tops (optional)
  • Red grosgrain ribbon for wreaths (optional) - 3 yards for lap, 5 yards for twin
