Pattern Description:

Ruffle Crush is a strip quilt with charm strips and inset gathered strips. The pattern includes directions for two sizesbaby quilt (40" x 53") and throw quilt (50" x 70").

I designed this quilt around a charm pack and large scale fabrics that were from the same fabric line. The gathered strips add interesting texture and set off the rows of charm squares. This pattern is great for showing off large scale prints as well.

This pattern is a 27-page pdf file that includes photos and cutting and layout diagrams, and two suggested backing options for the larger quilt size. Also included are three tutorials to help make this pattern beginner friendly--Detailed Gathering Instructions, Straightening Fabric Edges, and Matching Large Scale Prints.
