Basic Skills Necessary:

  • cutting with a rotary cutter and ruler
  • sewing an accurate 1/4 inch seam
  • deciding on and sewing a quilting design
  • sewing double fold binding to finish

Pattern Description:

Here is your chance to use those large-scale prints that you just can't bear to cut up. Make the most of stunning pictorial or novelty prints that you've been saving for a special project. You'll be able to gaze through the 'attic windows' at your fabulous fabric in this cot/wall quilt.

The pattern contains complete instructions and plenty of colour diagrams to lead you step-by-step from fabric through to finished quilt.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 38 inches by 48 inches

Materials:

  • 3 fat quarters of large-scale focus fabric
  • 2 fat quarters of similar colour fabric (one light and one dark) for the wall and sill fabrics
  • 1 yard of fabric for washings and wide borders
  • 1/4 yard of fabric for narrow border
  • 1/2 yard of fabric for binding
  • 2 1/2 yards of fabric for backing

You Will Also Need:

  • rotary cutter, mat and ruler
  • sewing machine
  • sewing thread
  • scissors
  • pins
  • batting (wadding) at least 44 x 54 inches
