Pattern Description:

This pattern (teacup pattern only) was inspired by the cup of tea or coffee that inevitably sits nearby while I quilt.

I love this block, it is nice and easy and straight forward. It would be perfect for a beginner paper piecer.

I originally designed this block for Fiona's theme of "Mid Century Modern Furniture" for our paper piecing bee, Wombat Stew. I loved the block so much that I remade it for myself and wanted to share the pattern with others :)

This PDF includes pattern pieces for both a 10" and 15" (finished) block. The nature of the design lends itself to fussy cutting a fun print for the TV screen and you may find a 15" block works better for your selected print.

Basic instructions and a guide are included. Each section is clearly labelled and a seam allowance is included for each section. You will need to print the pattern pieces, please unselect "fit to page" or print to "actual size" in your printer dialogue box.

A note on printing: I use an Australian printer with Australian copy paper. US copy paper is slightly smaller. I have taken this into account in the layout of the pattern pieces. This means that the pattern pieces are away from the edges of the page.

I am happy for you to sell handmade items made using this pattern on a small scale. In your item listing please credit me (Gemma @ Pretty Bobbins) with a link back to either my craftsy or etsy stores or my blog (details provided in the PDF). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me :)
