Quilted Turtle with Baby

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic skills necessary are: Quilting, Sewing, Following Pattern Instructions.

Pattern Description:

Lovely hand quilted blocks that I have made over the years all stacked up and put away. To nice, for no one to see! Inspiration came when I began to think of what I might do with some of them so they could be quickly and tastefully displayed. Little Hier Looms I thought and placed in a Shadow Box and hung with care for everyone to see. It was my lightbulb moment!
A little bravery on my part to cut right into a Quilt, but oh so worth while to see and to hold the finished product, especially knowing that YES, I indeed can make more and more blocks at any time. I hope to enthuse and challenge anyone with giving this project a try. You'll be glad you did.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approximately 10" in length for Large Turtle, and 4" in length for the Baby.

  • Coodinating Fabric Scraps, 1 Quilted Block, All Purpose Thread, Sewing Needle, Sewing Machine, Scissors and Pinking Shears, Iron, Crafting Sand, Polyester Fiber Fill, Velcro Tabs, 1 Button, Ribbon, Glass Beads of 2 small and 2 large.
