Here is another simple but lovely quilt pattern. This project came to me as I walked through my local craft store. I saw a beautiful wooden cross and realized I could translate it into a textile project! I then designed these projects to use our favorite pre-cut fabrics (charm packs, layer cakes, fat quarters and scraps)! Because the fabric is fused to the background or batting, you only have to zig zag over the raw edges to prevent fraying. No binding is needed with this technique either!
Quilting is completed as you zig-zag through all fabric layers! Easy, fun and fast.
Need a last minute gift? These projects can be made in an hour or two.
Have fun quilting!

I have been crocheting since I was 12 years old and quilting for the past 11 years. I began teaching quilting techniques in 2004, designing patterns in 2006 and have been published in Asian Fabrics Magazine (issue #10 and #11). My favorite part of quilting now is the quilting and binding of a project. I currently quilt on my Bernina Artista 200. :)
I look forward to improving my machine quilting skills as time goes on and hope to win a national competition someday!
