Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Piece and applique fabric.

Pattern Description:

Super Simple and Super Fun!
Do with or without applique! OR use any other large scale applique!
These Fish have gone to Quilt Class! They all sport wearable art and you will have a whale of a time putting them on this quilt! But the fish are just for show.
You could skip the fish and add any large appilque to this quilt... Autumn Leaves, Animals, Vehicles, Broderie Perse any motif from fabric!
Make it your quilt. Easy finishing with the borders built in make this an extraordinarily easy quilt to complete.

  • A Fabrics: 7 Fabrics - 1/4 yard each AND B Fabrics: 3 Fabrics - 1/2 yard each All fabrics to be in the same color family and relate in value to provide a background for applique. In Addition: Fabric for Inner Border and Appliqued Quilt - A- Fish to include... Contrast Fabric - 1 1/2 yards total, for applique, inner border and binding: This should be 4 to 8 fabrics Other scraps for applique if desired/needed. 1/2 yard Paper Backed Fusible Web (I like Heat N Bond Lite) Applique Pressing Sheet or Freezer Paper (Optional) Backing and Batting for this size quilt.
