Basic Skills Necessary:

  • basic quilting knowledge, quilt ruler use

Pattern Description:

I'm positive you will find the ruler used for this pattern as fascinating as I did. There are a multitude of different blocks that can be made from just this one ruler. The ruler is from CREATIVE GRIDS called "Lazy Angle" and was designed by Joan Hawley - #CGR3754. Find this ruler at your local quilt store or online.

I call the block design in the pattern I've created "Prickly Blades" and use one of the basic squares from the ruler instructions. This quilt uses only three fabrics and looks best using "like" shades of one color.

This block design may look difficult but it is quite easy! Why not give it a try and surprise yourself?

Full instructions and drawings included in the pattern.
