- piece with a 1/4 " seam on your sewing machine
- rotary cutting
- really basic beginning quilting skills
Pattern Description:
I love pinwheels!! This is a stunning quilt that features this fantastic design. I also love Thangles for making 1/2 square triangles, they are not necessary but I recommend them for making this quilt. This is a fantastic beginner quilt, that makes it look like you are an expert!
Materials:
- 1 1/2 yards of background for the pinwheels
- 12-18 fat quarters is various colors for the pinwheels
- 2 yards of fabric for your sashing and borders
- I reccomend 3" Thangles
- 1 1/4 yards for bias binding
- 4 yards for backing
- batting
- cotton thread
You Will Also Need:
- basic quilting notions such as a rotary cutter and ruler , pins ect.
