Penguin mug rug is an adorable applique project that can be easily completed in an afternoon or evening. A really cute mini quilt for your coffee mug and sweet treat. This festive mini quilt also makes a sweet candle mat. It's also adorable just hung on the wall as a holiday decoration.
Materials:
- 1/4 yard Heat n Bond or fusiable web
- brown thread for applique
- scrap fabrics in the following colors; green, gold, cream, black, red and white
- black seed beads for eyes
- 1/4 yard blue snowflake fabric for front and backing
- 7" x 10" piece of batting
- 1/8 yard green fabric for binding
