Pattern Description:
This adorable baby quilt is a quick and easy way to welcome any little one into the world. Simple construction and wool applique make this quilt a pleasure to make and give.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 38" x 50"
Materials:
- 1 5/8 yards - Pink polka dot print for the outer border
- 1 yard total of assorted pinks in a variety of prints, dots, checks, stripes and florals
- 1/4 yard - Pastel yellow floral print for the blocks and inner border
- 1 2/3 yards - Pink or yellow floral print for backing
- 1/2 yard - Yellow for the binding
- 48" x 60" piece of batting
- 12" square of Chocolate Brown Wool Felt
- 3" scrap of Cream Wool Felt
You Will Also Need:
- Coordinating pink six-strand embroidery floss
- Freezer paper
- Water-soluble glue
- Pinking shears, or rotary cutter with a pinking blade
- Rotary Cutter and Mat
- Quilting Ruler
- Sewing Machine
- Thread
- Embroidery Needle
