Two great women were a major influence in my creative life. My Greatgrandmother and my Mother taught me to sew, knit, crochet, and tat. I am the only quilter in my family and am self taught. Over the years I became interested in pattern design and started writing quilt patterns. I now design quilt patterns which I offer to you to enjoy. I love what I am doing and I hope you enjoy my work.View all patterns by designer (19) »
This is my lap quilt pattern 'Patch Envy' which is easy and quick to complete. This quilt top is made from just 2 blocks.
The pieces in each block are large so it is fast and easy to construct. Large or small prints all look great. Scrappy is fine.
You will need 9 different fabrics. Eight require 1/2 yard each and the other requires 1/4 yard. Another 3 yards will be needed for the backing and binding.
I love this pattern for you can make this pattern over and over and it never looks the same. It is as EASY as sewing together a series of 2 blocks!!
Finished size is approximately 47 x 62 inches.
The fabrics in the pictures are Free Spirit Fabrics. The beauty of this quilt is that it looks great in any fabric combination. Bright flowers, 1930's, Baby Fabrics, Calicoes all work well.
If you would like to purchase a finished quilt using this pattern or my other quilts I have for sale you can find them for sale on quilts for sale.ca. http://www.quiltsforsale.ca/DB/search/quilter.php?page=1&ArtistID=146
