Hi there! I am a chemical engineer/patent agent by day, a quilter at night, and a mom and wife all the time. I love my family and being a mom to my 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter. Combining my engineering and technical writing backgrounds with quilting has lead me to become a pattern designer. Designing, writing quilt instructions, and doing quilty math are some of my favorite aspects to quilting. You can follow my quilting adventures at www.MeadowMistDesigns.blogspot.comView all patterns by designer (20) »
This 39 page pattern contains paper pieced patterns for Numbers 0-9 in three sizes plus a bonus quilt pattern using the paper pieced numbers called the Pi Quilt.
Three sets of numbers are included in three different finished sizes (the sizes do not include any borders or sashing around the numbers):
Small numbers (2" wide x 3" tall): Pages 3 to 12
Medium numbers (3.5" wide x 5" tall): Pages 13 to 22
Large numbers (5" wide x 7" tall): Pages 23 to 33
The Bonus Quilt Pattern - ? (pi) quilt is on pages 34 to 38 with the period pattern block on page 39. This pattern is wonderful for a math lover or nerd and contains 39 of the digits of pi.
These patterns assume a level of paper piecing proficiency so it does not contain instructions for paper piecing. The internet (blogs and YouTube) contains many excellent tutorials if needed.
