Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Use a rotary cutter.
  • Machine piece.
  • Quilt (or send it out for quilting!)
  • Bind

Pattern Description:

The pattern includes instructions for making two sizes: a large family-sized throw and a smaller baby or wall-hanging quilt.


  • 13 Fat Quarters
  • 4 1/4 yards background fabric
  • 4 1/2 yards backing fabric
  • 3/4 yard binding fabric
  • Full Size batting or 80" x 80"
  • For Baby Size:
  • 5 Fat Quarters
  • 2 1/2 yards background fabric
  • 3 yards backing fabric
  • 1/2 yard binding fabric
  • Throw/Twin size batting or 48" x 48"

You Will Also Need:

  • Rotary Cutter & Mat
  • Sewing Machine
  • Thread
  • Pencil or other fabric marking tool
