This is a fun counting quilt! One Pukeko, Two Pukeko, Three Pukeko, Four, Five Pukeko.........until More! I think you get the hang of it now! Pukeko are a bird that inhabits New Zealand who look delightful and often comical although not always loved as they are quite destructice, buut loveable just the same! The quilt has quite a lot of applique that can be done by hand or machine as well as the words of the rhyme that are hand stitched. A delightful quilt which would look fabulous on a wall or cot/bed.

I just love making things! I started when I was really young and no-one has ever found out how to stop me! Sewing has always been part of my life, and for the last many years quilting has taken over, ......because quilting is delicious!
