You've made your five cuts in your stack of fabrics. You've rearranged so that a different fabric is on top of each pile. Then you basically put it back together in reverse order. I usually have one "half" of the fabrics cut into two pieces, and one half cut into three pieces. So the three pieces together, sew the two pieces together, then join the two halves. As you see in the pictures, these blocks are nowhere near square at this point. Hope this helps. It's a pretty random process, by design, but a lot easier for me at least than traditional crazy work.
