I am the Patchsmith. I patch, applique, sew and quilt. I have been creating a life of fabric, fun and friends for many, many years. I believe a pattern should be easy to follow, with clear diagrams and full-size templates. Value is also very important to me - both in terms of fabric wastage and to the buyer. Patchwork is about sharing and that is why all my patterns are priced for everybody to afford.

A new baby is always a joy and a blessing with each new child becoming a prince or princess to their proud parents or grandparents. Now you can mark the occasion with this lovely little mug rug pattern from the Patchsmith.
This mug rug is both decorative and functional and would look good on the nursery wall or on the nightstand. It is the perfect size for that essential cuppa that accompanies those middle-of-the-night feeds.
And if you are making a cot quilt for the new baby then why not use the left-over scraps to make one of these little quilties for a truly co-ordinated look. The individual blocks would also make a great addition to a little cushion or pram quilt.
This pattern uses quick fuse applique and simple patchwork and comes with easy-to-follow instructions, colour diagrams and full size applique sheet.
NOTE: This pattern does not include name templates but does include instructions on how to add a name to the mug rug if desired.
This pattern is for personal use but permission is also granted to make this item to sell provided the item is handmade by you and you credit the Patchsmith for the design. No mass production allowed.
