Pattern Description:
You will love this pattern if you have lots of 2 1/2" strips lying around or have some of those Jelly Rolls you purchased and don't know what to do with them. You can also use yardage and cut strips for the project. This is a fun, scrappy strip project. Two patterns for the price of one!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Lap Quilt" 62 x 62" Table Runner: 23 x 48
Materials:
- Lap Quilt:
- Medium and Dark 2 1/2" x 42" strips - 48 total
- Medium tan 2 1/2 x 42" strips - 10
- OR
- 3 1/2 yards total of assorted mediums and darks cut into 2 1/2" strips
- 3/4 yard total assorted medium tans cut into 1 1/4 " strips
- Additional Fabric:
- Fat 1/4 dark blue for circle appliques
- Fat 1/4 dark gold for star appliques
- 4 yards backing fabric
- 1/2 yard dark blue for binding
- Table Runner:
- 16 assorted Medium and Dark 2 1/2 x 42" strips
- 4 assorted Medium tan 2 1/2 x 42" strips
- Fat 1/8 drak blue for circle appliques
- Fat 1/8 dark gold for star appliques
- 1 1/2 yards backing fabric
- 1/3 yard dark blue for binding
You Will Also Need:
- 74 x 74" piece of batting for lap quilt and 29 x 54" piece of batting for table runner.
