Pattern Description:
Moroccan Morning is inspired by Moroccan ceramic tile. Every time I see tile, I itch to make a quilt that resembles it - so I'm thrilled about this quilt pattern.
I love the bright cheerful colors, and I also love how the yellow bits come together to form a star.
Moroccan Morning is very simple construction - it is all constructed with squares and rectangles. It is a perfect project for someone with a few quilt tops under their belt. Rotary cutting skills are helpful, as is knowledge of strip piecing.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Crib Quilt (40" x 60")
- Lap Quilt (59" x 79")
- Twin/Single Quilt (64" x 84")
- Full/Double Quilt (84" x 84")
- Queen Quilt (84" x 104")
- King Quilt (104" x 104")
Materials:
- You will need three 100% cotton fabrics that are high-contrast for the pattern to show up clearly.
- In my sample quilt, I used a solid white, a bright yellow and a blue.
- Solids or very small scale prints work best.
You Will Also Need:
- Backing and batting to finish.
- Additional blue fabric for binding.
