Pattern Description:
My original pattern for Pocket Ornaments was a big success at the quilt shop where I teach....time for a new assortment!
Often the perfect gift is a gift card, but how do you wrap it? These ornaments have a pocket on the back for the card and when the card is just a memory, they'll still have a pretty ornament to hang on the tree!
These designs are paper pieced...don't know how (or it's been a while)?...no problem, I'll show you how easy and FUN it is to do!
You'll get two of each design and can always make more using a copier.
My patterns are clearly written with diagrams/directions for each step.
Materials:
- Scraps unless you want to make a set of ornaments using the same fabrics for the borders, pockets and back...then you'll need 1/2 yard.
You Will Also Need:
- Basic sewing supplies
- Thin cording or ribbon
- Fusible fleece or other thin batting
