I love designing and making quilts, especially folk and story quilts. All my patterns are easy to follow with step by step directions and photos. Every pattern begins with a quilt created and sewn on my table top machine. I want everyone who tries one of my patterns to enjoy the experience of quilting and the satisfaction of a finished project. If you ever need help or have questions, email me at email@example.com.
I have a blog where I share the design process behind the patterns, MarylandQuilter.com. Come by and visit!
It is Halloween Night. In the meadow, a crescent moon shines on the weeping willow tree. A black cat and an orange pumpkin share the night. Snuggle under this warm quilt and enjoy the season with them.
Moonlight on the Weeping Willow Tree is created with a wickedly simple design. The central panel is assembled and quilted, then the sides are assembled and quilted. The tree and moon are made from a reverse applique, so easy to do. The applique and the quilting are done at the same time. There is no binding; the edges are finished by sewing all around and then clipping the edges to fray.
Every step in this quilt was planned to create the most beautiful quilt possible in the most efficient way possible. There are numbered step by step directions, color photos, and metric numbers in parenthesis.
