Basic Skills Necessary:

  • basic patchwork
  • basic rotary cutting
  • This is a simple beginner quilt

Pattern Description:

Your little ones will love the "Eye Spy" fabrics in this quilt and you will love it's simple & modern aesthetic! This quilt is very easy to make, beginner friendly!

"Eye Spy" quilts are meant to have specific items that your little one will recognize featured in the fabrics. The quilt becomes a learning tool and you can even put 2 of each fabric to make it a memory game. So fun!

Materials:

  • 1 1/2 yard of background fabric, I used Pewter by Riley Blake
  • Lots and Lots of scraps ar least 3" X 5" for the eye spy squares, I used about 50 different fabrics
  • 1 1/2 yard of fabric for the quilt backing, I used a giant polka dot from Adornit
  • 3/4 of a yard for Bias Binding fabric
  • Batting

You Will Also Need:

  • just the basic quilting notions, rotary cutter, ruler, pins ect
