Pattern Description:

Looking for a quilt pattern that the man in your life will love? This one is bold and geometric, but in dark navy blue, not too flashy or “girly”. The large center star is echoed in four smaller stars at each corner.
The pattern is for a square queen sized bed quilt, which might be too big for your son to use on his college room bed. Not to worry. Optional variations presented at the end of the pattern allow you to make it a bit longer and narrower. Also included are instruction to increase the quilt for a king size bed.
Suitable for an ambitious beginner with some quilting skills, this pattern is packed with 12 pages of tips and ideas for both the novice and experienced quilter including: how to make mitered corners when finishing your quilt, rotary cutting directions and more.

  • Quilt backing – navy print 2 ½ yards 90 inch wide quilt backing or 5 yards 44 inch wide fabric.
  • Batting – one piece queen size batting or 2 ½ yards 96 inch wide batting
