Pattern Description:
The inspiration for this quilt came from blocks I had left over from a previous project. I matched them with the the lighter greens, brown, red and gold fabrics in my stash. The colours remind me of a springtime meadow.
This quilt pattern and its directions have been thoroughly tested.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- approximately 72-1/2 x 82-1/2 inches
Materials:
- 1-1/2 yard dark green print; 3/4 yard light green print #1; 1 yard light green print #2; 2-1/2 yards light green print for setting triangles and borders; 3/4 yard gold; 1-1/4 yards brown for sashing; 1/4 yard red for cornerstones; 2/3 yard for binding; 89 x 88 inch batting (full size); 5 yards for boacking (or 2-1/4 yard 90-inch wide backing.

- sewing & quilting threads, rotary cutter, mat

About the Designer
I been quilting since 1996. Myfavourite aspects of quilting are hand appliqué and hand quilting and I have won several prizes for them. Excellence for Bed Quilts is just one of those prizes, awarded her at the National Juried Show in Waterloo, Ontario in 2005.
