The peacock pattern is one of my most popular patterns. This book is two projects in one. A quilted table runner with a batik peacock center that you make yourself, and instructions to create faux stained glass. In the tutorial, I teach simple methods to create these pieces using items that you would have around the house. We use school glue and acrylic paint for the stained glass effect on the Faux Stained Glass project. On the quilted table runner, we use a method of melting crayons to create the batik of the peacock and then use simple piecing to create the quilt around it. The book also includes ideas for seven more projects using this pattern.
