Pattern Description:
Make this gorgeous quilt in whatever style of applique you prefer. It takes a little more work to do this quilt, but you will have a heritage piece that your family will pass down from generation to generation. Don't forget to put a quilt label on it with your name, date of creation and location.
Materials:
- 100% cotton fabrics
- 1 yd. gold large flower print for pieced outer border
- 1/2 yd. each of gold flower and brown flower print for blocks
- 5/8 yd. dark brown print for inner border, snowball block tips and applique flowers
- 3/8 yd. blue print for inner border and flower
- 1/8 yd. each pale yellow print and pale green print for flower
- 1/4 yd. each of medium yellow print and medium green print for inner border and dark green print for applique stems and leaves
- 3/4 yd. green print for applique ribbon
- 3 yds. backing
- 1/2 yd. binding fabrics
- Batting to fit.
- This quilt is done in Montmartre Sunburst by Ro Gregg from Northcott Fabrics. Second quilt is done in French General Fabric.
