I am the Patchsmith. I patch, applique, sew and quilt. I have been creating a life of fabric, fun and friends for many, many years. I believe a pattern should be easy to follow, with clear diagrams and full-size templates. Value is also very important to me - both in terms of fabric wastage and to the buyer. Patchwork is about sharing and that is why all my patterns are priced for everybody to afford.

There are some bugs that are just so cute you don't mind if they sit on your desk or work table. The ladybug is one such bug. Here in England they are called 'ladybirds' and can be found amongst the nettles along the lanes or on the fuchsia plants in the garden. Now you too can welcome these charming little insects into your home with this delightful mug rug from the Patchsmith. There is plenty of room for your cup and a cookie - the ladybugs won't mind!
This pattern includes two versions for constructing the fuchsia flower - one simply patched and the other quickly appliqued. The patchwork fuchsia is a very good beginner's block and the applique flower uses the quick-fuse method. But you don't have to choose - the easy-to-follow instructions, colour diagrams and full size applique sheets ensure you will have plenty of time to make both if you wish.
So join the Patchsmith today for some summer fabric fun and make your home the unique place you want it to be.
