Pattern Description:

This baby quilt gets its name from the way the blocks look a little like kissing fish. It makes a great scrap quilt! With careful cutting, a 6" print square (plus solid white) will get one "kissing fish."

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Finished size: 40" x 51"

Materials:

A total of 1 3/8 yards of brightly colored prints
2 yards of solid white (such as Kona Cotton in White)
1/2 yard of fabric for binding
1 3/4 yards for back
batting

I used this pattern for my first quilt and the directions were easy to follow even for a total novice like me. By following this pattern, I gained the ability to pay very close attention to detail and precise measuring since the pieces are very small. The result is amazing!
