Pattern Description:

Looking to make a quick gift for a friend or need a picture frame for an unusual number of photos? Make a Keepsake Photo Quilt!

This project is very easy, fun and quick. The quilting is simple and the project easy to adapt to any number of pictures you want to display.

(The photos in the pictures are displayed vertically. Directions are written to create the quilt horizontally, but it can be displayed either way. Also, the photo corners in the pictures were cut a bit smaller than the directions to maximize the picture displayed.)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

11 3/4" x 24 1/4"

Materials:

Sashing - Fat Quarter (18" x 22") of your main print fabric
Background fabric - Fat Quarter (18" x 22") this fabric will not be seen unless you leave pictures out of this space
Photo Corners - Fat Quarter (18" x 22") of fabric that contrasts to sashing
Batting - 13" x 26"
Backing - 13" x 26"
Binding - 2 strips of 2 1/4" fabric cut width of fabric (usually 42")

You Will Also Need:

Thread
Standard sewing kit
Walking foot is helpful
Knee lift is helpful to pivot corners
