Pattern Description:

This is a fun pattern that I designed for the Think Christmas Blog Hop 2012. It is directions for an 11" square block (with seam allowance) Use this block by itself for a mini quilt block, combine it with the other 'Wilson' blocks to make a table runner, quilt or banner. Change up the colors for different puppies!

Materials:

  • 6" x 10" light brown fabric scrap (head, ears)
  • 5" x 5" cream fabric scrap (nose, tag)
  • 5" x 5" red fabric scrap (bow)
  • 2" x 2" brown fabric scrap (nose)
  • Seed beads for eyes
  • Heat n Bond Lite or other fusible web material
  • Dark Brown thread for appliqu stitch
  • 11" x 7" fabric rectangle cream/gold
  • 11" x 4 1/2" fabric rectangle green
