Pattern Description:

If you like a contemporary look and love batiks and tonals, consider this design. The block, known as Interlaced Blocks and also as True Lover's Knot, is easier to construct than it looks. Only three different fabrics (plus backing) are needed.

The quilt, 40" x 67 1/2", could be used as a lap quilt, table topper or wall hanging.

The pattern is illustrated with fabrics from the Molly Bs Studio Primo Batiks collection by Marcus Fabrics.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 40" x 67 1/2"

  • 1 yard light fabric
  • 1 1/4 yards medium/dark fabric
  • 2 yards dark fabric (includes binding)
  • 2 3/4 yards coordinating backing fabric
  • Batting about 48" x 76"

You Will Also Need:

  • Basic quilting supplies and tools--thread, scissors, ruler, etc. Rotary cutter strongly recommended.
