Basic Skills Necessary:

  • cutting a 45 degree angle with ruler

Pattern Description:

Braids are fun to make. If you enjoy log cabin construction, then you'll enjoy making this braid.
For ease of construction, the braid starts with braid strips sewn to a triangle. The inner border and setting triangles create an inlaid effect.
Only simple straight seams are used in this pattern which is very forgiving.
Give your bed an splash of color with a quick and easy bed runner.
One jelly roll is enough to make several bed runners, so a partial jelly roll left over from another project might be enough, depending on the size.
Sample uses Moda Morris Modernized.
