In God We Trust

from B. Bumble & Co.
(7) Name: 'Quilting : In God We Trust
In God We Trust

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • basic quilting, simple outline embroidery

Pattern Description:

This wall hanging has a verse from Psalm 56:3,4 embroidered across it. "When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise. In God I trust, I will not be afraid." It is a perfect wall hanging or lap quilt for someone who needs to remember this important verse and feel comforted. It is a verse most of us would enjoy being reminded of daily!
I designed it in a more contemporary quilting style. It is an easy quilt to make and you can use up scraps in making the outer border or chose to just use a fabric instead.

  • sewing machine, fabric (center panel - 29 1/2" x 22", narrow black border - 1/4 yd., outer scrap border - scraps in cream, black, gold, turquiose equivalent to 1 yd. of fabric, yellow/gold and turquoise scraps for circle applique, batting, backing -1 yd. if fabric is at least 45" wide, binding -about 14 feet

You Will Also Need:

  • embroidery floss, 1 skein black, freezer paper, glue stick
