I think my artistic ability comes from my father, who was a terrific artist. There wasn't anything he couldn't paint.
I actually fell in love with the art of quilting after I moved to Montana 15 years ago. After making challenging patterns designed by famous quilters I decided to try designing patterns of my own. I have been designing patterns for about 7 years. I initially made my quilts for myself and my kids, but I was encouraged by my husband and my friends to start my own company and share my patterns with other quilters. I also love digitizing.
