This quilt is similar to my original Emma's Star pattern and Emma's Star II pattern, except this one does not use a pieced block and it has two borders. This is a great quilt to use directional fabrics. Using a stripped fabric will give you the illusion that you pieced the block. The possibilities are endless with this pattern. Because you cut out a square of fabric for the block and don't actually piece a block, it will go together so fast.
The picture of the pastel quilt looks like the block has been pieced but it is just using a striped fabric.
This pattern is for your use only and can not be copied without permission.

I got my start sewing when I was very young. When my children where in school, I did alterations in my home. After moving to a small town I worked in a quilt shop for 10 years and taught quilting classes and also did longarm machine quilting. Six years ago I bought my own quilting machine and moved into my home and started distributing my quilt patterns. I love every aspect of the quilting industry. I have met some wonderful people through quilting. There's always something new to explore and that's what I love.View all patterns by designer (34) »
