Pattern Description:

A charming little bit of happiness, this wall hanging will brighten any room.

Simple applique shapes, a bit of embroidery for embellishment, make this an easy project to complete.

Use your favorite applique technique or check out my Craftsy class, Machine Finished Hand Applique, for a quick and easy technique to create heirloom quality applique.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 24 inches square


  • 1 Fat Quarter Gold Print for the heart Large scraps of several shades of the desired flower color. Large scraps of a couple of shades of the flower center color. Large scraps of Black and desired Butterfly colors.

You Will Also Need:

  • Rotary Cutter, Ruler and Mat 100% cotton thread for piecing Favorite Applique Tools Sewing Machine in good working order Embroidery thread in colors to coordinate. I used DMC's six strand floss in variegated colors.
