Pattern Description:

I made a quilt a few years ago with this design, then decided to do a pillow to match. I enjoy seasonal designs, changing things around in my house. The pillow covers are great for this, one pillow form just keeps on going.

I hope you'll like the black and red, a bit of a change from the usual Valentine's Day colors. I think it's stylish enough for year round too.

The black and white checkerboard type accents take some precision in your cutting and sewing, but worth it!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

16" X 16"

Materials:

Black prints: 4 fat quarters
Red prints: 4 fat quarters or 4 pieces, 6" X 6"
Solid black: 1 fat quarter or 1/4 yard cut
Solid white: 1 fat quarter or 1/4 yard cut
Solid red: 1 fat quarter
3 buttons, 5/8" or larger (some old, unmatched ones from your button box)
68" of 5/32" cotton cording
Muslin*: 1/2 yard *or any other fabric, it won't show
Batting: 18" X 18"

You Will Also Need:

Basic sewing supplies
Sewing machine including the zipper foot and button hole attachement
16" X 16" pillow form
